Having a disco bar with restaurant. Hotel is in main market of Mcleodganj. Nearby atmosphere is good. Very noisy at night due to Disco Bar. ACs needs replacement or service. However, stay was comfortable.

l am unable to comment on the standard of accommodation as I had to cancel this booking due to an India V Australia cricket match being moved from the area. What I can comment on though is the absolute lack of any semblance of customer service shown by management at this establishment. I'd booked this accommodation through booking.com with a credit card as guarantee. I was then bombarded with requests to pay up front through a bank transfer. I was not happy to do this and informed the hotel. They were insistent, stating that my accommodation might be cancelled if full payment was not received. On one evening I was getting hassled by two different individuals on WhatsApp for payment. They were also telling me to get in touch with my travel companion, who had booked separately, to pay! Despite me reiterating my concerns about paying in this way they were insistent, rude and impolite in their bombardment. Worried I would lose the accommodation I relented and tried to pay via my credit card. Payment was declined on a number of occasions. The manager could see this from his end and told me to keep trying or use another credit card! I had to speak to my card provider to get them to allow this transaction. Eventually the transaction went through although they charged 1,300 Indian rupees more than the price on booking.com. Given the experience to date I wasn't going to argue this fact. Roll forward four weeks and unfortunately the cricket match I was hoping to see in the area was moved elsewhere in India necessitating me cancelling this booking. I contacted the hotel stating this and requested a refund which was within the free cancellation window. The informed me that the GST amount attached to this booking would be withheld. I informed them that nothing short of a full refund would suffice. At this stage they threatened to stop the entire refund process, a decision they eventually reneged upon, and refunded me an amount that was 6,620 Indian rupees short of my initial outlay. This has now been left with booking.com to pursue further before I get my credit card provider involved. I find it unreasonable to withhold the GST amount on accommodation that I had never used. Additionally, the experience with the staff was discourteous and unprofessional. I would urge them to review their procedures and train their staff to provide better customer service. I hope they take this feedback constructively, and that they will take the necessary steps to improve their service in the future. If they don't, please take the above as fair warning!

I booked lavish inn and it was my first time visit here they helped me to reach at hotel over calls and after that they parked my vahicle by own and next day they helped me about nearby place that I can explore here. Everyone is here very helpful and always ready to help. And the most loving thing is their weekend music party you can enjoy your vacations here and the only entertainment point at mcleodganj is this hotel. Highly recommended.

Nice Clean hotel in the city .Beautiful full view from room no 802. Tasty food in restaurant and cafe both . If you are coffee lover must visit their ground floor cafe for special coffee . helpful staff .Also it is easy to locate in market, 2 minutes walking distance from main square of mcleodganj.
